One-Two-Three Stew

1 package dehydrated onion soup mix

2 cans cream of mushroom soup, plus ½ cup water

3 pounds lean stew beef, cut in cubes

Combine all ingredients, cutting down on amount of dry onion soup mix if you like. Turn into large, buttered casserole. Cover. Bake for 3 hours at 300 degrees or 4 hours at 250 degrees. This amount serves 8.

New Shrimp Stew

1 can Campbell’s cream of potato soup

fill can with milk

1 8-ounce pkg. cream cheese

1 can small shrimp

Soften cream cheese. We prefer using a 3-ounce package of cream cheese. Combine softened cream cheese with can of cream of potato soup. Add can of milk. Stir well. Add can of small shrimp. Heat and serve. Use double boiler. Serves 4.
